Lets cut the retirement plans for those in office who think we deserve to have our retirement plans cut. Since the need for cutting retirement plans is the key. If this 1% happens this time. Next time it might grow to 3% all the while Congress is cutting our pay increases on the front end. Even though the cost of living isn't going down.
It looks like we the Service Members are getting it from both ends. This retirement plan budget cut will effect all retirees in the military (past, present and future).
If they are able to cut their pay as well (since they've been cutting ours) it well also help with the budget. Military pay is always being tampered with and not in a good way. Congress needs to find another alternative. Like taking from their own cookie jar instead of stealing from ours
