Cut retirements for congress and to eliminate congressional perks

Being a congressman is an act near to patriotism. It is not a paid career. Congress currently gets HUGE retirement pay and perks such as cheap healthcare and gym privledges to name a few. They are lawyers, businessmen,doctors,etc. .They have a way to earn a living outside of office. Let them pay into social security and I.R.A.'s or 401ks. It is not the tax payers responsbility. This would represent a huge saving to the American people. Get rid of ALL retirement pay to congressmen,their spouses,and all perks should be done away with. Let's let Congress take its own advice and tighten it's own belt.
