Cut salaries of congress/The President/Vice President by 50% and put the money into our public dept.

The President makes $400,000 a year plus $269,000 in extra benefits like non taxable travel expenses. The average pay for congress members is $174,000 and leadership positions get payed more. These individuals get payed much more than the average Joe but they still have not solved the dept crisis. They keep taking their time and raising the dept ceiling. It's time we put a little bit of pressure on them where it counts, their wallet. They need to do their job. Over the next year congress as well as Obama the the vice president should get a pay cut of 50% which will be put towards the public dept.
