Have the house and senates salaries cut by 50%. They make a lot of money outside of their job in the house and senate. And if you wont cut their salaries then you need to cut the fat. Stop the salaries for life and stop the special health insurance. That should help to balance the budget a little bit and show them what the middle class feels like.
