Cut salary by 50% for executive and legislative lawmakers. "Nay" votes means that person doesn't really feel our pain.

Created by C.B. on January 22, 2013

Submit a bill to cut Congress, Senate and U.S. President's salary by 50% until the national debt is less than $100 Billion. A Nay vote indicates that lawmaker's sincerity when saying "I feel your pain" or "I care about my constituents". Then the truth will be out there and constituents can identify who they do or do not want to re-elect.

With a bill that is cutting into their own wallets, lawmakers might actually jump partisan hurdles to really tackle the national debt.
