cut the salary of the President and all members of Congress as a first step to resolving the budget crisis.

The sequester cuts include cuts to everything that hits average hard working Americans. The one thing it does not affect is the pay of the President or members of Congress. While the rest of the country is required to tighten its belt to deal with the situation that our government and its members have created due to partisan bickering & refusal to make cuts or to reign in waste, they themselves are not feeling the consequences of their actions. We petition the President and Congress to take a salary cut and put a freeze on raises for the next 10 years and apply that money to the federal deficit.
