Due to the current ineptitude of our elected officials and the embarassment they are causing with the fiscal cliff, we should 1) immediately strip the last pay raise given to the Congress 2) cut the salary of the President, House and Senate members of all parties by 20%, and 3) require all elected officials in these branches to pay 50% of their government provided health care costs.
