Cut Saturday postal delivery from the USPS

Created by J.C. on April 10, 2013

The US Postal Service lost (-$1.3B) in Q4 2012...that's a 3 month period! The USPS lost close to (-$16B) in all of 2012, which is an amazing was of money.

A proposal has already been made to cut Saturday mail delivery, but has now been caught up in governmental red tape and no reduction in service will be taking place.

We have too many post offices, too many USPS employees creating too large of an expense that can't be covered by current revenue streams. The US postal service has become an outdated service to the American people and needs some form of structural change to stay relevant in the 21st century.

This petition is being put in place to help raise aware to this cause and to get the governments attention that expenses need to be reduced and overall structural changes are needed.
