Cut spending on the tanks and aircraft the military has said they do not want instead of the number of service members.

Created by K.B. on March 01, 2014

On many occasions the Pentagon has said there are tanks and aircraft (some going straight to the boneyard from the manufacturer) they do not need nor want. Instead of cutting a number of service members, cut spending by doing away with that waste. Savings on cutting unwanted services and equipment should be more than enough to maintain personnel levels and also fix the mess in the Veterans Administration. It is patently evident the only reason to continue spending tax dollars in such a way is to satisfy contractors and politicians vying for re-election. We have a duty to those who have served and those currently serving to take better care of them; and not force them out as we did in the early 90's.
