Cut Welfare and other entitlements before cutting Defense funding.

Mandate that "major" welfare cuts be made to the "maximum" extent prior to cutting funding to our National Defense. Last year alone the federal govt. spent over 1 trillion dollars on welfare, but here we are a week away from 85 billion dollars in cuts that will cripple our defense and will make us vulnerable to attacks from foriegn countries and terrorists. It seems that we have gotten to a point as a country where we breed and encourage laziness and complacency, and punish the hardworking by raising thier taxes and making them victims to a furlough. All the while people still collect thier food stamps, welfare checks, unemployment checks, and section eight vouchers on time. This system is flawed considering that welfare has jumped 32% in the last 4 years alone which is unacceptable!
