Cuts to Politician Pay and Vacations

We the people of the United States of America petition the Government of the United States to cut the pay and other benefits to the politicians of this Great Nation. During every recession and economic crisis the people of this Great Nation have to face cuts to their income and a change to their way of life. However, our politicians do not have to worry about this because they are the ones who decide on their pay. We ask that the pay to Congress and the President and his cabinet be cut to about 50% for all offices. We also petition that any vacations taken by any politician even the President to use their own money instead of tax payer money. If the people and the military service members can live on 40k a year then so should politicians. This will help with the Financial Crisis
