Daily Compounded Interest on Federal Student Loans

Hello Fellow Citizens of the United State of America,
The reason I started this petition is because of the compounded daily interest which accumulates on student loans. Compounded interest accumulates to half of the payment I make by the time the next payment is due. Granted I was a kid when I took out these loans, and budgeted and worked and still will ended up paying $40,000 dollars for an $11,000 dollar degree. I pay taxes, I pay the cost of living. I just wanted to better my life, the one way to freedom was only through education. We should not put a price on education this dismisses the value nor because we come from poverty should we be in-debt to such as disadvantage. (I could have put a down payment on a house). Socrates said "an unexamined life is a life not worth living.
