Data plans should include tethering for free. Customers already pay for the data; how it is used should be up to them.

Currently US cell phone carriers (with a few exceptions) charge customers to tether (The act of using your phones data for your laptop, tablet, desktop, etc.). Customers are already being charged to use data. The manner in which the data is used (not what the data is used for) should be up to the customer. The customer is already paying for the data. Tethering should not be an excuse to charge more.
