Database created to check on people with prior felonies as well as certain mental illnesses in obtaining assault weapons

We should reinstate the ban on assault weapons and high velocity ammunition. We should earmark money to do background checks on felonies pertaining to any and all people with prior records and convictions of weapons used during the commission of crimes. Also, we need a Nationwide Database to track persons with certain mental illnesses, whether inpatient or outpatient, especially geared towards violent crimes using weapons! All private and public sales of weapons should be banned, the reason being, there isn't any way to regulate these sales!This should be one ENTITLEMENT to pass with flying colors in CONGRESS!
