I'm trying to handle this with maturity, but Big Papi hit two more home runs tonight, and is clearly still one of the most feared hitters in baseball. What's one more year of instilling fear in people from 60' 6" away? If Bryce Harper thinks baseball is tired now, it's going to be in REM sleep next season after Big Papi retires. The Red Sox, MLB, and every true baseball fan in the world aren't ready to see him go. My calculations lead me to believe that is more than 100,000 people. We will see.
