While Russia has done many things which are morall abhorrent, the safety of the United States and the world must take precedence over policing Russian actions. Harsh sanctions, no-fly zones, and NATO expansion are likely to goad Russia into rash behavior which threatens our country. While not condoning Russia's policies, the US should take up a less hostile position, with the aim of de-escalating the tensions which prevail.
