Police actions in Ferguson, MO., the Bureau of Land Management's show of force and response in Nevada at the Bundy Ranch, the no-knock raids that have led to the use of flash bang grenades on infants. Our local law enforcement groups are paid for by citizen taxes. Their main objective is to SERVE and PROTECT, not INTIMIDATE and MURDER our nation's citizens with weapons designed for war and paid for by citizen taxes. I, personally, am tired of paying taxes to see my fellow citizens, innocent or guilty, treated like enemy combatants. Please join me in calling for the de-militarization of our local law enforcements. Halt the grants of decommissioned equipment to local officials. Help restore faith in local law enforcement and return them to serving and protecting the community.
