Legitimate Chronic Pain Sufferers who need long term Pain Management. Pharmacies no longer stock the meds for fear of the DEA. Most doctors afraid to prescribe for fear of the DEA. Many of us have had to switch to other meds that are worse for our heath and include daily NSAID use several times a day (with much stomach discomfort as a result and potential liver or renal damage).
Even with a legitimate pain history and legitimate prescriptions and medical records, we are turned away. I've recently gone on various pain sufferer websites and it's sad to see how many are considering suicide. Quality of life. A life in bed and in severe pain is not a life worth living for many of us.
