This petition covers an issue facing Native American children and families. Over the years many Native American children have been taken away from their families for no season such as just siting neglect and give no real why neglect was a reason why. Mr. Obama if you are reading this Congress has passed the "Indian Child Welfare Act" in 1978 and over 32 states are ignoring a federal law passed almost forty years ago. I have heard many stories from men and women saying that there child has been taken for no real reason. We as a country must pay attention to this issue children are losing their culture. Act upon this Mr. President!
