Dear Mr. President:
Please make every effort to stop the Russian government from impeding
the process of allowing the return to the Habad-Lubavitch movement
the priceless historical books and documents owned by late Rabbi
Yosef Schneerson. It is my understanding that the Supreme Court of
the United States has ruled those possessions should be returned to
the Habad-Lubavitch Plaintiffs in this case.
I request that you use every effort to compel the Russian Government
to obey the American Court decision. Please stop Mr. Putin,
President of Russia, Mr. Medvedev and the Russian Minister of culture
Medinski and other Russian officials implicated in this decision from
keeping the religious valuables from the proper person who are
supposed to receive same.
