The situation in Syria is undoubtedly a humanitarian crisis and the terrible loss of human life there is tragic. However, there is no credible evidence of an imminent attack on the United States by the Syrian government and therefore intervention is both unnecessary and unconstitutional. We urge you to end any and all intervention in Syria as it will only seek to inflame the situation and prolong tensions. Please seek a diplomatic solution and re-engage all of the necessary and relevant parties.
Furthermore, our veterans here at home, whether they be from Iraq or Afghanistan, are exhausted and have not received their necessary benefits. Please see to it that before we invest in anymore overseas engagements that our veterans are taken care of first. Thank you.
