being Translator/Interpreter for the U.S Army has proved to be a critical job in the war on Terror. when I started to work as an Interpreter 5 years ago i wanted to help support my family and help rid my country of those that wished to do it harm. over the years however i have noticed the situation deteriorate for me personally. while i was aware of the danger of working with the Army i never imagined it would become this bad. i knew that there were not a lot of people willing to do this job but if we Afghans dont stand up and fight for our country then who will. As result of this mindset i have become a target in my country my own country. As you maybe aware Interpreters have become specific targets by the Anti- Government forces.
