NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre has challenged President Obama to a one-hour real debate on guns - as opposed to an orchestrated public relations "town hall" with pre-screened questions. Will the president accept the invitation?
During the "town hall", Obama said he's "repeatedly" invited NRA leaders to the White House; then complained that the NRA's rhetoric is "so over-the-top" and "so overheated" but failed to mention that the invitation extended to the NRA offered one pre-screened question.
Well Mr. President, you have the opportunity now. Instead of trying to load the dice, how about a real, live, honest debate?
