President Obama & Senator Cruz are making statements about a topic that is critical to us helping refugees AND guaranteeing safety of Americans.
President Obama says:
- we are not at war with Islamist Extremists
- ISIS is J
- ISIS is contained
- his strategy is working
Senator Cruz says:
- we are at war with Islamist Extremists; France & Jordan say the same)
- we have not contained ISIS
- the strategy of containment is not correct; we must destroy ISIS
- existing vetting/immigration processes do not guarantee safety, & quotes the Director of the FBI who made supporting comments
These elected officials owe it to the American people to publicly debate these CRITICAL issues. It's not acceptable for We The People to be subjected to sniping instead of fact based debating & problem solving.
