The Debt Saver Program is inserted into the State Tax by 6%, creating Standard-income Assistance. The 6% is a fraction withdrawn from another taxpayer service (46% changes into 40% creating 6%). The program can reach a total of 5 billion dollars. Only NECESSARY use for paying off 50% of Michigan resident’s debt. Similar to the TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) program, lower middle class families with a minimum of $5,000 in debt will have limited benefits related to food and health services. The Debt Saver Program issues GRANTS for those who are eligible. You are only issued a grant every 6 years. A 10% increase in your last debt balance at mark of the 6 year will reduce percentage of next available grant to 25%. You will be charged with grand larceny if not applied in a week.
