As a decade of war comes to an end, we must allocate war funds to our underfunded education budget.

Created by D.M. on January 13, 2013

Our education budget is getting shallower and shallower as the people of America insist on solving a debt during a recession (debt due to war and top end tax cuts). The US has slipped behind in apt scores and achievement among our students and it is about time we took back first place.

For many living in poverty, education is their only saving grace, and that only chance for them is becoming slimmer and slimmer. Many have closed their eyes to the issue. But this is not what Americans do. In the name of our kids' future, we cannot sit back any longer and continue to sink down the ranks, we must act.
