Declare December 24th and The day after Thanksgiving as federal paid holidays from now on every year. Federal employees keep the government and the American people going. Without us there would be no one to take claims, handle Social Security, protect American boarders, issue tax refunds etc.State government employees around the U.S. have these holidays off every year while federal employees have to use their hard earned leave to take these dates off to spend time with their families. Signing this petition will help federal workers keep their leave and not have to worry about signing a petition every year.
