Declare the 21st of December to be the International Day of Happiness.

Created by B.C. on December 17, 2012

We propose that the first official day of Winter be declared the ultimate annual day of unbridled happiness. Granted, this is something we should strive for daily, but in the bustle of our daily lives, it's easy to forget that we are all someone's child. Take a minute to text someone you may not have talked to in years. Give a stranger a huge (ask first!). Just do something. Sing as loud as you want in the shower, dance with your mop.

BREATHE.

You don't even have to leave your house. Smile! Remember to love yourself. Love your fellow human. Restore their mental and emotional compasses!

We NEED to break this cycle of cries for help, where people are brushed off as drama queens or loners. People are stressed, literally to death during the holidays. Can we please bring happiness back?
