Declare that access to the internet and all of it's content should guaranteed and considered a human right.

Created by A.Q. on February 25, 2014

In the modern era, unrestricted access to all data on the internet has become a staple of our society, not just American society but society worldwide. It has also become a critical part of educational development, economic expansion, and human expression. In recent days the notion of treating all content equally, commonly referred to as net neutrality, has been called into question by corporate super powers demanding their financial share of the internet. The purpose of this petition is to demand that the US government take steps to ensure continued unrestricted access to the internet and also to uphold the policy of net neutrality. Access to the knowledge and content of the internet should be considered a human right.
