Declare the ACE Basin of South Carolina a National Monument.

Created by T.S. on February 16, 2013

The ACE Basin is area of pristine wet-lands between Beaufort and Charleston SC. It is formed by the Ashley, Cooper and Edisto Rivers. Naming the area a national monument would be the first step in the long road to making it a national park.

Some of the area is salt marsh, small creeks and sea islands that are unspoiled. It should remain so.
