Declare all local and state laws against feeding homeless people to be null and void. It is not a crime to be homeless.

Created by P.P. on November 13, 2013

More cities are enacting anti-human laws against anyone giving free food to people in crisis situations. The poorest Americans are being denied the basic right to "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." The homeless are being targeted by many local laws that make it illegal to distribute or receive free food. In some USA cities, homeless citizens are being wrongly arrested and imprisoned.

The charitable giving of free food to poor or homeless people needs to continue and be encouraged. Many veterans, women, and children have become homeless due to wars, disasters, and other factors.

The federal government needs to make it illegal for any city or state government to enact or enforce laws that punish poor people and the ones who help them.
