Government decleration and endorsement of a national day of prayer would help heal this nation, strengthen the ties between us, and provide encouragement to the people of the nation. Declare and endorse a day of prayer for all people, whether it be Christian, Muslim, Jewish, any other religion, or just a day for people to observe in silent contemplation. This nation was founded on the basis of religious freedom, and it is time to get back to that, smooth over differences, strengthen beliefs, and practice our God given rights.
