Everyone in the United States of voting age who is a citizen of the United States should have the opportunity to exercise his or her right to vote. By declaring the first Tuesday in November and recognizing it as a national holiday, election day for the citizenry of the United States would allow people the necessary time to become adequately educated and have the needed amount of time to vote.
