Declare that the attack on soldiers at Fort Hood was a Terrorist attack and award benefits accordingly.

We request that the President declare that the unprovoked attack on United States soldiers on the United States Army Base, Fort Hood, Texas, November 5, 2009, was a Terrorist Attack. In keeping with long-standing practices of the United States Army, we also request that the Purple Heart be awarded to every soldier who was killed or wounded that day. Furthermore, we request that the heirs of the fallen receive the benefits due to the heirs of fallen soldiers. We also request that those wounded have all the costs of their medical care be fully paid by the U. S. Government and that their pay and benefits not be reduced while they are unable to perform their duty as a soldier.
