The Colorado River has been polluted by toxic spills from old gold mines. The Environmental Protection Agency has just now suspended its work and deemed the pollution in the river to be at the pre-spill levels. The water is still toxic for agriculture and livestock, let alone people. The Federal Government should employ all of its resources to stop further spills, caution the residents about the exact nature of the pollution, and order FEMA and EPA to continue their work of assessment and cleanup. Help the residents NOW!
