Declare the day after the Super Bowl to become a national holiday.

Created by M.L. on January 30, 2014

The Sunday night of the Super Bowl is a night of having fun, partying and staying up late; however, these actions can actually have negative effects on industries the following day. The day after the Super Bowl results in about $170 million lost in American businesses. Furthermore, more than 13% of Americans will take off after the Super Bowl on that Monday either using a sick day or a vacation day due to the Super Bowl being the previous day. Thus, to decrease the amount of loss productivity, it is finally time that we should make the day after the Super Bowl a national holiday.
