Declare the day after the Superbowl to be a National Holiday designated as "Superbowl Monday."

Created by J.N. on January 16, 2014

The Superbowl is an annual event which pits the best American Football Conference team versus the best National Football Conference team for the title of World Championship. The Superbowl averages nearly 111 million viewers per year, or a little more than one-third of the country's population. In 2012, Superbowl XLVI had an estimated audience of over 167 million, or more than one-half of the population of the U.S.

People need to sleep the day after the Superbowl. Whether due to celebration or depression, "Superbowl Monday" needs to be a day of relaxation and rejuvenation. Work is inappropriate on that day.
