declare the day after the Superbowl a Federal holiday so everyone can get that day off work.

Created by L.A. on January 13, 2013

Every year, millions of our fellow citizens enjoy watching the biggest sporting event in our country: the Superbowl. Superbowl Sunday is a time when many family and friends gather to celebrate. On the Monday after the Superbowl, many businesses find a huge drop in productivity due to employees taking a day off. It's time our Federal government aligned itself with our citizens wishes and make that Monday a holiday.

If the idea of giving the day off for a sporting event does sit well with you, maybe you could just move President's Day or Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Day to match up.
