declare that the day US Citizens vote is to become a national holiday

I wish to declare that the day US citizens officially vote should become a national holiday. It would improve voter turn out, allowing citizens to have their voices heard in government. I believe that through this, more citizens could take action within their state, local, and federal governments more easily. By making "Vote Day" a national holiday, citizens now have more time and freedom to engage with their governments.
