Declare the deaths of black babies and mothers a national crisis and assign a task force to enforce a solution.

African American babies are dying at a rate that is 2 to 3 times higher than any other ethnicity. Mothers are dying from pregnancy complications 3 times more than any other group. This unspoken epidemic is atrocious and a solution needs to be found immediately.

Our mothers need better health care, funding for support workers to aid in conception, prenatal and postpartum wellness, proper nutrition, and pregnancy loss support where needed.
