Declare Dec 14 as a National Teachers and Children Day - NTC Day, to commemorate the senseless tragedy at the CT school

This request to declare December, 2014, a National Day to honor teachers and children is to memorialize the senseless tragedy caused by the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, CT. Schools, children, and teachers are our national treasure and the pain and suffering they endured on this day should never be forgotten.
