In honor of the immeasurable social good that the Star Wars franchise has created in the form of ideas, technology, entertainment and yes, even the Jedi Philosophy, it seems only appropriate that we honor the multi-generational effect that this often astounding, sometimes disheartening, but seldom disappointing vision of good versus evil has brought, not just to the United States, but the world, and to galaxies far, far away.
