Declare December 23 as Strong4Sam Day

Samuel Taylor was diagnosed with a brain tumor on December 23, 2014. He was having episodes of blurry visions and went to the eye doctor to see if he needed glasses. They admitted him to an MRI and from there he was admitted to Seattle Children's. Sam was put into operation a few days later and but they could not remove the tumor. Oncologists found that the tumor was called Astrocytoma. Astrocytoma cells originate in a particular kind of glial cells, star-shaped brain cells in the cerebrum called astrocytes. This type of tumor does not usually spread outside the brain and spinal cord and it does not usually affect other organs. Sam had a stint installed to redirect the spinal fluid. He is now going through 14 months of chemo therapy once a week. Lets be Strong4Sam!
