declare Election Day as a national holiday.

Created by C.C. on November 11, 2015

As voter turnout in the United States continues to decline, something needs to be done to energize Americans and make civic engagement a priority in our lives. In the last federal election, turnout hovered at a shocking low of 37 percent.

Declaring Election Day as a federal holiday would give millions of Americans the day off of work and the time needed to cast their ballots.
