Making election day a national holiday will enable many more people to vote. Voting is the most basic civic duty we have as Americans and many people cannot vote simply because they have to go to work. Let's make election day a national holiday on par with Presidents' Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Vetrans' Day, and MLK Day.
