The price tag of catering to more than one language detracts from the US' ability to more efficiently allocate its funds. From employing translators to print, the cost is high. People should go to another country(any country) and assimilate into it. When I fill out a jury duty form (as is one's civic duty), it asks, "Do you speak and understand English?"...to fully be a citizen in any country, you must speak the dominant language. It is a danger not to be able to read road signs, emergency info, etc. Yes, a road sign's meaning can be memorized, but an amber alert can't...a dynamic construction sign can't. In the interest of solidarity, safety and community, I humbly ask that you introduce legislation to this effect. Thank you.
