Declare the first Thursday and Friday of March Madness a national holiday

Created by D.R. on March 17, 2013

Each year the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament is the most exciting three weeks in American sports. Whether supporting Duke or North Carolina, Georgetown or Syracuse, Ohio State or Michigan, there is a singular thrill in every tournament game. Sadly many Americans never get to see the first 32 games that kick off March Madness because they occur during working hours.

President Obama's basketball passion is no secret and as President he has the option to watch any game he wants. It's time to insure all Americans share that same freedom.

Sign here to ask the President to declare the first two days of the NCAA tournament a national holiday. Insure every American can experience the singular joy of seeing Cinderella dancing and the agony of having their bracket busted as it happens.
