I am a person who has made mistakes growing up. No one was there to teach me about Credit, now that I have poor credit I have become a victim of discrimination. Why must we need a credit check in order to get an apartment? Why must we be condemned for a past mistake?
Their are a number of citizens that have little or no credit, poor or fair but are judged on the basis that we can't keep up with a bill.
If I made 100,000.00 but had poor credit am I still not qualified for an apartment or will my credit be overlooked just cause the fact I make so much? What is the difference if I have poor or excellent credit for an apartment?
If a single mother with children is turned down for a place to live just cause her credit if not fair is that justice? Do you leave her on the street?
