declare individuals diagnosed as being "color blind" to be disabled under the Americans with Disablities Act.

Created by J.M. on December 30, 2012

Extend the same protections under the ADA to colorblind persons, as this is an uncurable, congenital medical condition. Currently, the US Military and other government and civilian employers may decline to hire qualified persons on the basis that they are colorblind. They also may decline to give colorblind persons certain positions. It is our belief that this constitutes discrimination based on a documented disability.
