Declare January 19 a Nationally Recognized holiday as the Birth Date of General Robert E. Lee.

January 19th marks the date of birth of General Robert E. Lee.
General Lee was a man of great significance to the history of the south and to all of the United States. It is only fitting that he be remembered for his heroic deeds and skill on the battlefield.
It is requested that January 19th be honored as a National Holiday of the United States of America and that schools and jobs are canceled in order for the citizens of America to pay the long past due respects of a great American Legend.
